ArtsALIVE! is hosting a cabaret on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 8 pm, in the JJHS Theatre that will feature both current students and a handful of our wonderful and talented alumni from years past! Our performers, both current students and alumni, will be reprising songs from past John Jay Musicals.
We are extremely excited to announce that Andre Catrini will be our Musical Director. A graduate of JJHS and Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music (2011), Andre is currently writing and composing for shows in New York. He has assembled a wonderful cast of JJ alums and current performance students who will all be showcased at our Encore Cabaret. The list of talented, winning performers will make this a night to go down in JJ history.
And we are thrilled that Tomm Polos, another celebrated JJHS graduate, who attended the Theatre School at the University of Southern California, will be our Master of Ceremonies.
This will be an incredible evening of music, entertainment, and community. In addtion to the outstanding performances you will enjoy a jazzy set, impeccable lighting, professional sound and the top notch skills of our legendary student stage crew. We hope you will consider joining us! And of course you will be supporting the arts at JJHS for all of our students.
